Charles Marv "Pop" Smith (October 12, 1856 – April 18, 1927) was a Canadian Major League Baseball player from Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada. Pop played as an infielder for ten different teams over his 12-year career, spanning from to .〔(Baseball-Reference player page )〕 On the 17th of April, 1890, Smith became the first player to come up to the plate 6 times and not have an official-at-bat.
